Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Fettle website, mobile applications, calculators, or related services.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with capitalised initial letters have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Application means the Fettle mobile application available on iOS and Android.

• Website means https://fettle.fit and any associated domains.

• Service means the Website, Application, calculators, tools, content, and any related features provided by Fettle.

• Company, We, Us, or Our refers to Fettle Fitness Limited, Floor 2, 87–88 Turnmill Street, London, EC1M 5QU.

• User, You, or Your means the individual accessing or using the Service.

• Content means all text, images, data, recipes, logs, and other material available through or submitted to the Service.

2. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, You confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms

• You are at least 18 years old

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

If You do not agree with any part of these Terms, You must not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Nature of the Service (Important Health Disclaimer)

Fettle provides nutrition-related tools and guidance only.

3.1 Not Medical Advice

Fettle is not a medical service and does not:

• Provide medical advice

• Diagnose medical conditions

• Treat or prevent disease

All information provided through the Service is for general informational and educational purposes only.

3.2 User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Any decisions You make based on the Service are made at Your own discretion and risk

• You should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health routines

4. Personalised Nutrition & Calculators

The Service may include:

• BMI, TDEE, and protein calculators

• Personalised calorie and macronutrient targets

• Meal suggestions and recipes

• Progress and trend tracking

All outputs are estimates, based on user-provided data and established nutritional models, and cannot guarantee outcomes.

5. Accounts, Access & Eligibility

• You may be required to create an account to access certain features

• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access where misuse, abuse, or breach of these Terms occurs

  
  

6. Pricing, Features & Changes

6.1 Current Access

The Service may be offered free of charge during beta or trial periods.

6.2 Future Pricing

We reserve the right to:

• Introduce paid subscriptions

• Offer tiered or feature-gated access

• Change pricing, features, or availability

Any material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

7. User Content & Conduct

7.1 User-Submitted Content

You may submit content such as food logs, messages, photos, or recipes.

You retain ownership of your content, but grant Fettle a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

7.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, or harmful content

• Misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its operation

• Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission

  
  

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at Our discretion.

8. Data, Analytics & Aggregated Insights

8.1 Personal Data

We do not sell personal or identifiable health data.

8.2 Aggregated & Anonymised Insights

We may analyse anonymised, aggregated data to:

• Improve the Service

• Understand population-level nutrition trends

Such data cannot identify individual users.

8.3 Opt-Out

Where available, You may opt out of contributing to aggregated analytics without affecting your ability to use the Service.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to Third-Party Services.

• These services are governed by their own terms and policies

• Fettle does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service (excluding user-submitted content) belong to Fettle or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Your access immediately, without notice, if You breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Fettle shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

• Total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by You for the Service, or £100 if no payment has been made

  
  

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where unlawful under UK consumer law.

13. “As Is” Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific needs.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting Us before pursuing legal action.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
